JT Grip Update
You may recall our recent post regarding the JT Grip. There has been speculation that the JT Grip, a compact bump-fire accessory, might not make it to market based on statements released by JT Grip Solutions. Their newest statement, via the video below, sounds far more optimistic than the statement found on their website.
According to the video, the JT Grip is ready for full production. It will be released eventually though the method of distribution still remains to be seen and it will not be until after their patent is issued. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you up to date.
Morse Industries Bipod Spikes
Morse Industries makes the most affordable bipod spikes I have found for Harris and Harris-style bipods. I know two shooters who use these spikes and both found them to be a worthwhile upgrade to their bipods. They bite into most surfaces far more aggressively than the standard rubber feet that come on these bipods. This allows the shooter to load the bipod more easily and effectively.
Eric Morse, of Morse Industries, contacted me to let me know these are now available on Amazon. In addition, they are available at a lower price from Tactical Works.
Triggersafe
Triggersafe is a safety device that covers the trigger guard area of an AR-15 rifle and helps prevent the selector from being swept into the fire position unintentionally. It was developed by two police officers with extensive experience, including SWAT and training, in a large metropolitan police department.
It is designed specifically to make the administrative handling of the AR-15 more safe. Think of it as something more akin to a chamber flag than a selector/safety (though some users are using it as a secondary safety). Triggersafe completely covers an AR-15 trigger guard and has a projection that sits under the selector. This prevents access to the trigger, increases the force necessary to sweep the selector off safe, and is visible from either side (unlike a chamber flag).
Triggersafe is made in the USA, injection molded from polymer in LaPorte, Indiana. It can be used with a variety of AR-15 trigger guards including those from Magpul and it also works with a variety of different selectors. It features a lanyard hole so that it may be dummy corded to something like a rifle rack to cause the cover to release automatically when the cord reaches its full length.
