JT Grip from JT Grip Solutions

I am sure you are all familiar with bump fire stocks by now. What if you could get the same function as a bump fire stock and all you need to replace on your rifle was the pistol grip? That is what the JT Grip from JT Grip Solutions promises – bump fire function in a pistol grip only form factor.

The JT Grip is pistol grip that is being developed for both AK and AR rifles. The grip reciprocates, allowing the recoil of the host rifle to aid you in subsequent trigger presses, much like a bump fire stock. The grip can also be locked into place for normal semi-auto use.

I have never seriously considered purchasing a bump fire stock in part because of their price and in part because of their large footprint on the host rifle. The JT Grip potentially does away with both those issues and JT Grip Solutions claims it will be very affordable once released. Unfortunately, based on a recent message posted on the JT Grip Solutions website, the JT Grip’s release is now in doubt:

JT Grip Solutions is suspending release of the bump fire pistol grip that we have been working on for over two years.  This result stems from the high cost of replacement tooling after working with a less than honest supplier, and from the failure to secure a working relationship between JTGS and Slide Fire Solutions. The eight months spent in negotiations with SF produced no agreement.

JTGS is now positioned to sell off our technology, the complete tooling, and the social media accounts.  Our tooling is ready to produce product and we will include our tool-ready future designs. Our Patent Application is 1.5 years old and still pending.

Ha! Leave subtitles on and read @ :28. “Totally legit”? The CC bots missed that one.

On another note, it’s a shame they are having difficulty bringing it to market. I hope something comes of it after all their effort.

The website says they are suspending release of the grip.

Due to litigation threats from SF, we will wait for our Patent to issue.
