Unity Tactical has taken to Indiegogo to drum up funding to make their latest design a reality. The Unity Tactical Baseplate for PMAGS is a drop in replacement baseplate for Magpul’s ubiquitous PMAGs that provides visual and tactile feedback as to whether the magazine is full (30 rounds).
The feedback is provided by a small nub on the baseplate that moves into a slightly raised position if there are 30 rounds in the magazine. The nub is recessed if the magazine’s load level is any lower than 30 rounds.
The “perks” for this campaign are reasonably priced. You can help launch the product and pick up 3 baseplates for just $10. There are larger packages available as well.

Oh look, it’s been done already. http://store.commandarms.com/clear-action-magazine/
That doesn’t attach to a PMAG.
