You should probably sit down. Magpul is releasing a 60 rounds drum magazine for the AR-15! It has a loading lever for easy loading and it is compatible with some feeding devices. It has a window to show load level, can be inserted on a closed bolt, and locks the bolt back on empty. The take-down sequence looks extremely simple. This looks impressive.

Shellback Tactical just released their first catalog and a tease about their upcoming Banshee 2.0 Plate Carrier. The Banshee 2.0 will be offered along side the original. Expect more details after the official SHOT Show release.
Emerson Knives just released their newest model – the Combat Systems Fighter. The new knife has simple lines and design elements familiar from other popular Emerson creations.
The blade and handle are somewhat reminiscent of the Emerson Roadhouse though with a tip that looks very much like the venerable CQC-8. The melding of these two designs results in a knife that looks new but seems familiar. The knife features 154CM steel, titanium liners and lock bar, and the aggressively textured G-10 you have come to expect from Emerson.
Hold onto your backsides. Magpul is about to start rolling out a series of video teases for upcoming products.
The first video gives us a glimpse into their adjustable, aluminum pillar bedded, lightweight stock system for short action Remington 700s – the Hunter 700.

The PMAG5 7.62 AC is an AICS compatible polymer magazine with anti-tilt follower, MSRP $34.95. The magazine holds five rounds as packaged to comply with hunting regulations, but if you clip the follower stop on a pre-scored line, it becomes a 6-round magazine, useful in competitive shooting disciplines or just for an extra round.
The ability to easily change bottom metal to accept magazines and an affordable AICS compatible PMAG big news. Magpul just rocked the AICS magazine market.
