The Hoffman ESEE-CM6

I am a sucker for stout, 5-6″ field knives with carbon steel and micarta slab handles which is exactly why I won’t be able to resist the new Hoffman ESEE-CM6. This new offering from ESEE has been in the works for some time now and is the result of a collaboration with knife photographer, knife designer, founder of PWYP, and all around great guy Terrill Hoffman.

ESEE-CM6

The Hoffman ESEE-CM6 is 11 1/8″ overall with a 5 7/8″ blade. It is ground from 3/16″ thick 1095 steel. The saber-ground spear point blade features a sharpened clip at the point. Like other ESEE knives, it features a black coating to prevent corrosion and canvas micarta slab handles.

Crimson Trace Green LaserGrips for 1911s

Crimson Trace has been in the process of bringing green laser modules to their excellent line of LaserGrips. It has been a challenge to pack power hungry green lasers into the reliable, compact packages that Crimson Trace is known for but they are making headway. In fact, the first green LaserGrips are now available.

The LG-401G and LG-404G for full size and compact 1911s respectively are now available. Check them out at Crimson Trace.
