In case you haven’t noticed, most AR-15/M4 stocks no longer have provisions to carry a cleaning kit and not everyone has room on their gear to add a dedicated pouch for their cleaning kit. The genius of the MS Clean and its magazine like shape is that it fits into pouches that you already have – your magazine pouches. This is a good idea.

Cleaning kit?? I’ll keep magazines in my magazine pouches, thank you. I just keep a boresnake tucked away in the bottom of a pouch & run it through my AK every so often.
Good luck using a bore snake to clear your chamber if you have a case that gets stuck Skeeter.
This is a perfect idea, though I lament losing 1 magazine of ammo. We need a cleaning rod that will neatly fit in the storage tubes on the sides of the Magpul ACS stock.
Stuck cartridges are removed by means of the “stomping lever,” which is sometimes referred to as the “charging handle.” lol
I created this because I was tired of my CLP getting crushed and if you are in combat you need a rod to remove mud, squib rounds, stuck case (if you rip the brass at the extractor you can stomp it all day to no avail. It was never intend to be carried near actual magazines or replace a magazine. MS Clean can utilize per-existing magazine pouches that can be place on the back or on a pack.
