Gadsden Dynamics Teases TDI Collaboration Fanny Pack

Gadsden Dynamics has let the cat out of the bag on a collaboration project with John Benner of Tactical Defense Institute (TDI). The new fanny pack will be available soon.

Coming soon! The Gadsden Dynamics TDI Fanny Pack! Go to our website and sign up for email alerts when this goes live in a couple weeks.

John Benner from Tactical Defense Institute has over 45 years of law enforcement experience, 25 of which were spent with the Hamilton County (Ohio) regional SWAT team. John is also a Vietnam veteran and the originator of this concealed carry fanny pack design that covertly holds a full sized handgun, spare magazines, and other essential every day carry items.

The TDI Fanny Pack is constructed with top quality, Berry Compliant materials. The main body of the pack is made with 1000 denier Cordura outer layers with an internal stiffener to provide the perfect amount of support. Instead of using coil zippers which notoriously break under stress, we use an extremely durable molded tooth zipper that will last a lifetime under heavy use without breaking.

The front pouch closure is designed to be quickly opened for access to your handgun, and the pouches on either side are sized to fit double-stack 17 round magazines and smaller. There are 2″ wide webbing slots on the back of this fanny pack that can be used to attach knives, flashlights, or other items.

KA-BAR TDI Shark Bite

KA-BAR’s newest addition to the TDI line is likely it’s most discreet. The new Shark Bit has the familiar angled blade to handle relationship for which the rest of the TDI knives are known. However, unlike previous offerings, the Shark Bit is made completely of polymer – Ultramid® to be specific. The knife and sheath are completely non-metallic except for the included ball chain neck lanyard which does not have to be used.

The sheath is worth pointing out in some detail. Many manufacturers make non-metalic knives and then use metal eyelets or clips in the sheath which, of course, defeats the purpose of a non-metallic knife. The sheath KA-BAR includes with the Shark Bite appears to be truly non-metalic and features enough attachment points to allow for a variety of carry methods.

The blade is 2.625” long (legal in most jurisdictions) and the overall length is 5.125”. It weighs under 2.5 ounces and is made in the USA.
