SIONICS Weapon System Launched New Site – a Deal and a Tease

SIONICS Weapon Systems has a new website that shows off their complete rifle, uppers, barrels and other AR-15 accessories better than ever. They are offering 5% off sitewide to celebrate the new site’s launch. There is no coupon necessary.

Whenever a company rolls out a new site, it is a good idea to do a bit of exploring. You never know what you are going to turn up. In this case, I found reference to a new set of aluminum sights that SIONICS is developing. With SIONICS’ reputation for quality and value, that can’t be a bad thing!

SIONICS Weapons Systems just released their new Complete Lower Parts Kit. This is a top quality LPK that comes with SIONICS’ brand new Enhanced Mil-Spec Trigger, a tuned 6 pound trigger that achieves a smooth break without sacrificing durability (see previous post for details). They have put 30 sets on sale for $69.95 which is a great deal for a complete lower parts kit of this quality.

SIONICS Weapon Systems Working on New AR-15 Enhanced Mil-Spec Triggers

SIONICS Weapon Systems is hard at work creating what they call an Enhanced Mil-Spec Trigger. The goal is to create a trigger that is as bomb-proof as a standard trigger, has a mil-spec pull weight of around 6.5 pounds, but is smoother and more crisp than a typical mil-spec trigger.

The introductory price will be below $40 and the expected release date is September of this year! Stay tuned for details.

Sionics Weapon System Testing Reduced Gas Port Barrels

Sionics Weapon Systems is testing what they are calling Reduced Gas Port Barrels. If you own a silencer, this is sure to make your day. The barrels will feature smaller than typical gas ports to help mitigate the extra back pressure created by suppressors. The smaller gas port will also reduce perceived recoil and, as you can see from the test video, they run well even without a can mounted.

The barrels are slated to be offered in 16″ mid-length and 11.5″ carbine gas configurations. Check out the test video on Sionics Weapon Systems’ YouTube channel and stay tuned for more details.
