SIONICS Weapon Systems has released a new 16″ stainless steel barrel. The new barrel, the 16″ 416R SS “RECCE” Barrel, is currently available separately from their website and will be available as an option on their uppers/complete rifles next week. If these shoot anywhere near as well as their 18″ stainless barrels, they will be excellent performers.
The 16″ 416R SS “RECCE” Barrel has everything you expect from a SIONICS barrel including an in-house designed medium contour, 1 in 8″ twist, 5.56 chamber, M4 barrel extension, mid-length gas, and SIONICS’ own extensive QC processes. SIONICS Weapon Systems has launched their first podcast. In the inaugural broadcast they cover topics like what makes their AR-15 carbines different, information about their LE contracts, and their upcoming reduced gas port barrels.

SIONICS Weapon Systems has announced that they will launch a new podcast October 19th, 2015. If you know SIONICS, you know that there are some very knowledgeable AR-15 gurus at work there. These are guys that not only know the rifle but how to use it effectively. This podcast will be seam-splittingly stuffed with good information.
