Regulation Tactical – Reflex Mag Pouch MK3

Regulation Tactical’s new MK3 version of their Reflex Mag Pouch is their most versatile mag pouch yet. It still retains the unique functionality of the original Reflex Mag Pouches but manages to add some notable features.

Like previous versions, the MK3 is still capable of holding 2 magazines and always places one of those magazines in the optimal position. The first mag is held forward and slightly higher than the reserve mag so that the user can easily grab it. When the first magazine is removed, the reserve magazine is pushed forward into the same position. The MK3 version has a redesigned, single piece spring that accomplishes this. See the video below for details on how this works if you are unfamiliar with previous iterations of this pouch.

The redesigned spring is removable which allows for multiple configurations. The pouch can be configured to hold 2 stacked magazines, a single magazine under spring tension, or a single magazine with no spring tension to give the pouch a lower profile. The pouch uses a series of hook and loop secured flaps to adjust for a wide variety of magazines, from .308 mags to AR-15 mags.

Finally, the Reflex Mag Pouch MK3 is the first to feature PALS webbing on the front. This allows other pouches to be stacked on top of the MK3.

Regulation Tactical Glide Belt

The new Regulation Tactical Glide Belt is a minimalist gun belt that lacks any kind of buckle or hardware. At first glance, it looks like a standard stiff webbing belt with inner belt but upon closer inspection, you can see that the “inner belt” is not a separate piece but rather an integrate piece of the belt that is only open at one end. This creates some interest functionality in terms of how gear is mounted on the belt. It is very simple and quite clever.

The Glide Belt is 1.5″ wide but an adapter may be purchased that quickly and easily adapts it to work with 1.75″ holsters. The best way to get a feel for how the system works is to watch the video below.

The lack of hardware keeps this belt very affordable at just $29.99.

Kick-Start a Great Deal

Down Range Gear is trying to kick-start a killer deal on some great gear. They have put together a package that includes a CDH-Tac Finland Lowride Panel and a Regulation Tactical Reflex Mag Pouch Mk2. Both items would normally cost $75 shipped but if Down Range Gear can gather pledges for 35 of the combos, they will sell for $50 shipped!

The CDH-Tac Finland Lowride Panel is a solid, well thought out piece of kit. It is a belt adapter for MOLLE pouches that is easy to mount and provides some drop for clearing armor carriers.

The Regulation Tactical Reflex Mag Pouch has been on JTT before. This pouch is extremely innovative pouch. It provides constant tension on the magazines and presents a magazine in the optimal position for a reload whether it is holding one magazine or two. It also allows for easy retention of partially spent magazines.

The combo is available in black or coyote brown. Visit Down Range Gear and follow the instructions at the link to get in on this deal.

The Reflex Mag Pouch has some of the most unique functionality that I have seen in a magazine pouch in a long time. Its design looks to make both accessing a magazine and stowing a partial magazine extremely easy. It has an internal mechanism that ensures that there is always a magazine in the optimal position for the user to access.

I think that people may be skeptical of the mechanism, but if it proves to durable, these pouches have some very serious merit. Check out RegulationTactical.com.
