RE Factor Tactical has been releasing drill videos to give shooter’s ideas for how to use their new targets. Today’s drill is called The Numbers Game and it pushes the shooter to process a lot of visual information in order to complete the drill. The shooter must scan the entire target and engage only the colored shapes that have a number printed in them with the number of rounds indicated by the number. Doing this against another shooter or on the timer should be more than sufficient to screw with your head.

The new NVG Counterbalance Pouch is now available. This pouch was designed by RE Factor Tactical and manufactured by High Speed Gear. It is designed to carry an ANVIS battery pack along with two removable parkerized steel plates that weigh .45 lbs each. The plates are included. The ability to add and remove the plates allow the user to customize the balance of their helmet. The pouch also features space for additional small items and loop Velcro coverage for patches and ID.

RE Factor Tactical’s two new training targets are now available. Both the Kill Zone and IQ Targets are available in packs of 10, 25, 50, and 100.
The Kill Zone Target features anatomical detail laid over a standard IPSC silhouette which gives the shooter a variety of options for approaching and scoring the target in training. The target allows you to shot to the IPSC standards and see how your performance correlates to hits on a humanoid target. This brings an easy to measure metric to your training that can be recorded to track progress.
The IQ Target is like Twister with guns. It features a variety of shapes, numbers, letters, and colors which can be used to make the shooter process a lot of information while delivering accurate fire. Targets like these can be used in several challenging ways but typically, a shape, number, letter, or color (or multiples) would be called out and the shooter would then have to solve the target based on the information given.
When DSTEIN DESIGNS and RE Factor Tactical get together, cool stuff tends to happen. The Violence is the Answer design is a good example of that. Their latest project aims to spiff up your Mac a bit with some very slick decals.
RE Factor Tactical’s Mac decals were designed by DSTEIN DESIGNS. Both of the available decals show a shooter interacting with the Apple logo in some way that explains the “bite” that is missing. There are two designs available, a sniper and a javelin launcher.
