Magpul CORE

Magpul Dynamics is now Magpul CORE.

In 2007, Magpul Industries Launched Magpul Dynamics, a firearms training division focused on the development of firearms manipulation skills. Over the last seven years through firearms courses and media projects, Magpul Dynamics changed the nature of the firearms training world at a fundamental level.

Over recent years, with a new staff, Magpul Dynamics focused inwards a bit. We still held a number of training courses, but we engaged in more skill development and general outreach to our end users. We immersed ourselves in the product development process, contributing to over 50 innovative new offerings throughout this past year. Perhaps most importantly, we focused on Magpul’s foundations and how to best present that face to the world as we move forward.

In addition to assisting in the development of new products, we will also be working on a number of media projects, articles, and social media efforts to promote those core values and to renew and develop the relationship with our customers and end users. Firearms training will continue to be a topic, of course, and we will still hold training courses. You will also see a variety of additional subjects from our staff, including adventure, field craft, fitness, competition, hunting, and others, all with an emphasis on personal responsibility and celebrating individual liberties. In addition to our crew, you may also see some additional faces from around this industry and even outside it.

Along with new staff and new emphasis, is a new name that better captures the evolved mission. -Magpul Core.

We look forward to sharing our foundational values, our principles, in both education and adventure with what we consider to be the center of our efforts—our customers.

Magpul PMAG17 GL9

Is no gun safe from the all encompassing arms of Magpul!?!? Who cares! Please pass the $15.95 Glock 17 magazines.

These magazines feature typical Magpul attention to detail and all polymer construction. They are easier than OEM mags to disassemble, have ridged floorplates to aid in stripping the mag or retrieving it from a carrier, feature high visibility followers, stainless springs, 17rd indicator windows, and a matrix on the base plate used to mark your magazines. Magpul states that these will drop free whether they are empty or full.

Magpul D60 – Drum Magazine!

You should probably sit down. Magpul is releasing a 60 rounds drum magazine for the AR-15! It has a loading lever for easy loading and it is compatible with some feeding devices. It has a window to show load level, can be inserted on a closed bolt, and  locks the bolt back on empty. The take-down sequence looks extremely simple. This looks impressive.

New from Magpul: Hunter 700

brand_magpulLogoHold onto your backsides. Magpul is about to start rolling out a series of video teases for upcoming products.

The first video gives us a glimpse into their adjustable, aluminum pillar bedded, lightweight stock system for short action Remington 700s – the Hunter 700.

UPDATE

Here is more info directly from Magpul:

Hunter 700, $259.95 MSRP has an anodized aluminum bedding block, uses SGA cheek riser and LOP spacers, has M-LOK slots, has dimples to add swivel studs and places to add our QD sockets, weighs 2.9 lbs, and works with factory Rem bottom metal as packaged, or….

Remove a spacer (30 seconds) and insert our hybrid steel and polymer Bolt Action Magazine Well (MSRP $69.95, includes one magazine) to use AICS compatible magazines, speaking of which…

The PMAG5 7.62 AC is an AICS compatible polymer magazine with anti-tilt follower, MSRP $34.95. The magazine holds five rounds as packaged to comply with hunting regulations, but if you clip the follower stop on a pre-scored line, it becomes a 6-round magazine, useful in competitive shooting disciplines or just for an extra round.

The ability to easily change bottom metal to accept magazines and an affordable AICS compatible PMAG big news. Magpul just rocked the AICS magazine market.
