EGL 2 Lid CLAYMOARRR Bag

Extreme Gear Labs has a fresh take on the classic claymore bag. Their new 2 Lid CLAYMOARRR Bag offers a ton of functionality and modern features in a bag that still stays true to its roots.

The original claymore bags had two pouches that shared a single lid. The EGL CLAYMOARRR has two lids, one for each of the front pouches, that can be used independently. The lids are secured with side release buckles along with hook and loop. The hook and loop can be blocked so that only the buckles secure the lids. There is also a large document pouch behind the iconic front pouches.

The bag boasts plenty of organization potential. It has PALS webbing on the top and sides of each of the front pouches. The two front pouches are loop lined so that you can add any hook backed pouch you want for small item organization.

The bag is secured to the wearer via a 2″ shoulder strap and there are loops for adding a waist strap.

VOCR/D3CR Tool Carry Back Panel

Extreme Gear Labs cooked up another useful extension for their Variable Objective Chest Rig (VOCR) and the HSP D3CR. The Tool Carry Back Panel serves two purposes. First, it covers the hook Velcro field on the back of the chest rig when it is not docked on a plate carrier. Second, it can be used to carry EMT shears, a Benchmade Rescue Hook, a marker, or whatever other tools you can fit.

EGL Drop-in VOCR Hydrobag

The VOCR, or Variable Objective Chest Rig, from Extreme Gear Labs (EGL) is already one of the most expandable chest rigs on the market. There are a host of available accessories for it and its derivatives like the HSP D3CR. The latest addition to the line up is the Drop-in VOCR Hydrobag which adds hydration capability to any VOCR, D3CR, or Mayflower R&C chest rig harness.

EGL Modular Expansion Panel

egl_mxpExtreme Gear Labs (EGL) has released their latest expansion option, the Modular Expansion Panel (MXP), for their VOCR series of chest rigs along with the HSP D3CR and similar chest rigs. The MXP is a quick detachable MOLLE panel that attaches via 3 side release buckles to the hook Velcro panel on the back of the chest rig.

The panel features 5 columns and 2 rows of vertically oriented PALS webbing on one side and 2 columns and 5 rows of horizontally oriented PALS webbing on the other. This allows the user to mount a variety of pouches in either vertical or horizontal orientation.

EGL continues to expand the usefulness and functionality of their chest rigs. Check out their Facebook page for more details.

Knockoff HSP D3CRs

Be advised, there are several knockoff HSP D3CRs on the market. Extreme Gear Labs recently posted images of one of them and the materials and workmanship is extremely insufficient for this type of gear. The problems include mismatched buckles, undersized pockets and flaps, cheap materials with little structure or durability, and insufficient stitch count. If you are in the market for a D3CR, be wary and buy from an authorized dealer.
