Fix It Sticks is now offering Glock specific bits for use with their tools (or any other tool that accepts 1/4″ shank bits). They are offering two different bits include a punch for disassembly and a front sight nut driver. The front sight tool is particularly interesting because it is magnetic and has a ledge to prevent the bolt from dropping into the tool.
You’ve seen Wndsn’s incredible low tech calculation tools on these pages before. They have created a variety of tools that calculate distance based on trigonometry, convert between MOA and MILs, and more… all without the need for moving parts or batteries.
Their newest tool, the Acrylic Telemeter Pendant is based on a Viking design. It allows the wearer to determine distance based on sighting objects of a known size while holding the pendant a specific distance from their eye.
This is one of Wndsn’s first acrylic tools and it has a unique feature that takes advantage of this optically clear material. There is a slot in the Telemeter Pendant that is sized to accept miniature glow sticks. The glow stick illuminates the markings on the Telemeter Pendant, allowing it to be used in low light.
The Q-DC, or Quick-Detach Carrier, from Aridus Industries already offers somewhat magazine-like feeding functionality with its ability to quickly swap shell carriers to the side-plate of your shotgun. So, why not offer a magazine-like way to carrier them?
Aridus Industries and Dark Star Gear are collaborating on a new kydex carrier for the Q-DC. The prototypes are being tested (shown above). They appear to be MOLLE compatible and offer retention via a ranger band. These will be available directly from Aridus Industries once they are in full production.
