DSG Cigar Co.

DSG Arms is probably pretty well known to many of you as a dealer of firearm accessories, tactical gear, and premium cigars… That’s right, cigars. DSG Arms just pulled the wraps off the DSG Cigar Co. They are offering 3 different cigars, each with its own unique filler and wrapper.

The Constitution Cigar has an aged Sumatra Indonesia wrapper with Dominican long-filler tobacco. The Liberty Cigar has an aged Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper with a blend of Cuban-seed and Dominican long-filler tobacco. Finally, the Revolution CigarĀ  has a Dominican Dark Maduro wrapper and a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican long-filler tobacco.

Even if you aren’t a cigar smoker, you have to love the names. Check out the DSG Cigar Co. offerings at DSGArms.com.

Brownells Launches New Site

Brownells has launched their new site. I am pretty habituated to the old site so this new site will take some getting used to but I like what I have seen so far. The product pages are cleaner and easier to use with larger images. The search is more prominent and the categories are easier to navigate. Check out the new Brownells.com.

The Second Amendment as a Barometer

It is true that we, as a community of gun owners, are often guilty of fixating on just the 2nd Amendment rather than a candidate’s view of the entire Bill of Rights. However, it is also true that the 2nd Amendment is an excellent barometer to be used to judge a candidate’s regard for the entire Bill of Rights.

Too often it seems that people do not realize that a candidate who has no qualms about encroaching on one right, will have no qualms about encroaching on others. I will never understand how the reduction, limitation, or denial of the 2nd Amendment can be viewed by some as a moral victory and not for what it is – another step toward a very, very slippery slope in which all of our rights are in danger.

There is no such thing as an anti-2nd Amendment candidate. It is time we call them what they are… Anti-Bill of Rights.
