Tyrant Designs CNC (TDC) has taken the wraps off the knives that they teased earlier. The new TDC 001 and TDC 002 knives are now available for presale.
These knives feature 3″ D2 steel blades with American tanto blade shapes. TDC touts that they will lock up via beefy liner locks, an area they paid special attention to. The blades ride on ball bearings in the pivot which should make them easy to deploy via thumb studs. Both knives feature deep carry pocket clips.
While both the 001 and 002 are similar, there are some differences in overall shape. Both are clearly fluent in the TDC design language and will make a great companion to their firearm parts.
The Cold Steel AD-15 is an excellent knife with some very, very aggressive G-10 (or polymer on the AD-15 Lite) scales from the factory. Those scales are great for grip in difficult conditions but they are murder for your pants pockets. Thankfully, there is a new alternative from Scalegarden.
Scalegarden offers custom scales for the AD-15 in carbon fiber, natural canvas micarta, and orange canvas micarta. I have the natural canvas micarta scales and they completely change this knife. They look great, offer excellent grip, fit perfectly, and actually make the AD-15 practical for EDC… at least as practical as a knife this beefy can be.
Stay tuned for a review of the Cold Steel AD-15. Visit Scalegarden to learn more about their AD-15 scale options: Scalegarden

The Aerocrafted Sideslip Utility knife is a finely machined and ultra-minimalist utility blade holder. Previously it was available in a premium version machined from titanium and brass. Now Aerocrafted has introduced an all 7075 aluminum version that is lighter in weight and a bit more affordable while still retaining all the finely crafted charm of the original.
The new aluminum version features matte black anodized finish with a contrasting raw aluminum slider. It weighs just .31oz with the included blade! It is available now.
Tyrant Designs just dropped a pretty interesting sneak peek. I looks like they are about to get into the knife game and that seems like a match made in heaven to me. Look for more details on Black Friday.
