We have covered the development of Recover Tactical’s BC2 Grip and Rail previously on JTT. The BC2’s development is now complete. It has entered production and is now available for purchase.
The BC2 Grip and Rail is a drop-in upgrade for Beretta 92 series handguns that adds both grip panels and a light rail to models that do not already have one. The rail is actually integrated into the two piece grips.

The new M-LOK to KeyMod Adapters from Midwest Industries allow you to turn an M-LOK slot into a KeyMod compatible surface. If you are sitting on a pile of KeyMod accessories but want to use them with an M-LOK rail, these may be just the ticket.
Magpul’s new MS1 Padded Sling retains the functionality of their MS1 Sling but adds a very slick padded area. That means that like the original MS1, the new MS1 Padded Sling works well as a 2 point or single point sling and can be adjusted for length easily with the MS1 slider.
The most notable difference is the addition of padding. Magpul added the padding using a unique variable width tubular webbing that allows the body of the sling to widen seamlessly to adjust for the width of the closed cell foam padding. There are no folds, extra seams, or transitions between materials which allows the sling to move more freely with the wearer and prevents snagging on gear.
These new Mag Cap Enhanced Base Pads were designed by Mike Pannone of CTT-Solutions and produced by TangoDown. They protect the bottom of USGI style magazines from dirt, drops, dents, bending, etc. Their slightly flared shape also makes it easier to remove the magazines from a pouch or carrier.
Blue Force Gear’s original Limited Edition AK Sling sold out in a matter of hours and for good reason. It had all the functionality of a VCAS but with an attention to detail and Soviet flair that made it attractive, functional, and a bit nostalgic. The Blue Force Gear Limited Edition AK Sling V2 has the same handsome leather slider and plum hardware as the original. It also sports the cool, hand stamped label. However, the V2 sports a new OD green color option to go with the original tan and a new front attachment method.
The new front attachment method is just as exciting as the sling and hopefully we can look forward to it joining BFG’s regular line up. It is a molded polymer UWL that features a QD sling swivel socket. I have written about the UWLs before and they really are something that you should have in your tool box.
