Blue Force Gear just added a whole lot of flexibility to an already flexible pouch. Their new Stackable Ten-Speed Pouch has the same hold-anything elastic construction that made them popular but adds the ability to stack other pouches or gear on top thanks to the addition of a laser-cut, MOLLE compatible ULTRAcomp plate to the front of each cell of the pouch. This means it is easy than ever to add some pistol mag pouches, a tourniquet carrier, and more.
The pouch is sized for M4 magazines and available in single, double, or triple shingle arrangement. As with other Ten-Speed pouches, these will lay flat when they aren’t in use giving them a very low profile.
Sometimes you need a little more storage capacity or organization. Sometimes you don’t. PocketUp’s Morph Pockets can be attached to any MOLLE compatible surface and they lay completely flat when they aren’t needed. When they are needed, they can be expanded easily.
The Morph Pockets have a roll-top closure that can be folded down into the pouch to create an open-top for tall items. Both of the available sizes come with removable compression straps.
Blue Force Gear’s newest versions of the venerable PLATEminus plate carrier are now available. PLATEminus V3 and V4 build on the original with a host of improvements and options.
V3 is a more minimal, lower profile carrier with a webbing cummerbund that weighs in at less than 1 pound! V4 features additional MOLLE compatible real estate on a Ten-Speed cummerbund for increased flexibility.
Mission Spec announces two permanent product price reductions effective immediately.
The FidoHold™ dog collar end user cost has been reduced to $13 shipped (CONUS). No design changes. Still available in all the great camo patterns that it was before.
The MeFak™ (Mission Essential First Aid Kit) price to the end user has been reduced to $64 shipped (CONUS). No design changes have been made.
The reasoning for the price reduction is that Mission Spec has developed new and more efficient production methods which has decreased the production time for both items. As time equals money Mission Spec has decided to pass the savings onto the customer.
Items are still 100% designed, tested, and manufactured in the United States with Berry Compliant materials.
Dealers: The dealer/wholesale prices of these items have also decreased. Dealers who have purchased either item in the past 4 weeks may contact Mission Spec for account credit.
Wilde Custom Gear is pushing into a new space – backpacks! Their new Kyll Backpack is now available.
The Wilde Custom Gear Kyll Backpack is a heavy duty, low profile solution for multiday trips, Everyday Carry (EDC) bag or bug out bag.
The Wilde Custom Gear Kyll Backpack is a 31+ liter backpack and features three zippered compartments. The main compartment has an internal hydration sleeve, one slit pocket, one zippered mesh pocket and one full length zippered fabric pocket.
The exterior of the main compartment has a grab handle at the top and sewn the full length of the bag. The top of main compartment has a hydration tube port.
The back is padded and stiffened, and unzips to access a sleeve which can be used for safely carrying up to a 15” laptop.
The outer compartment features an external zippered pocket, internal zippered mesh pocket and internal organizer for pens, pencils and other small accessories.
Two side pockets can carry small and flat items. The pockets are equipped with a laser cut MOLLE panel and elastic to expand to fit a standard U.S. canteen or 1 liter Nalgene water bottle. The side pockets lay flat when not in use.
A soft velour lined zippered pocket for glasses or electronics is located at the top of the pack.
Laser cut MOLLE makes the backpack fully modular and maintains a low profile look.
The tapered outer compartment provides a sleek, low profile look.
The suspension system is based on heavy duty padded shoulder strap yoke and internal stiffener in the back.
The Wilde Custom Gear Kyll Backpack uses a rear ventilation system that provides increased comfort and cooler operation. Contoured foam profiles covered with air mesh create multiple air channels. This keeps the pack off the back which maximizes air circulation while the foam provides comfort and stability.
The Kyll Backpack is currently available to order from Wilde Custom Gear but it is a pre-order with fulfillment coming in about 4 weeks. They will begin regular ordering once they have production in full swing.
Wilde Custom Gear also tells us that we can look forward to a smaller EDC pack to be released in the next few weeks so stay tuned details.
