VERTX® LAUNCHES GUARDIAN 2.0 LINE OF EDC READY SHIRTS

First launched in 2018, the Guardian 2.0 is revamped and refreshed for 2020 with new fabric, colors and updated features. The Guardian 2.0 is styled to emulate a casual button-down but includes EDC-compatible features that make it perfect for any mission. Constructed with a built-in WeaponGuard™ underlayer that’s designed to be tucked in and features 37.5® technology, the Guardian protects the skin from gear worn at the waistline while actively working to keep the wearer cool, dry and odor-free. Updated from the 1.0 styles, the communications pass-throughs were moved from the front and back of the WeaponGuard™ underlayer to the left and right side seam to more easily hide wires and cables. Refreshed fabrication in a wrinkle-resistant Polyester/Cotton/Spandex blend with all-new solids and plaids help the Guardian 2.0 blend into the crowd. MISSION SPEC PUSHES BATTLEFIELD MEDICINE IN NEW DIRECTION

Mission Spec, LLC (KS) is revealing their latest answer to the battlefield medicine question. Past customers will recognize the acronym EOC™ as Mission Spec’s original plate carrier design that was discontinued in December 2017 and replaced with EC2™. The company has decided to re-designate it from Essentials Only Carrier™ to Essential Oils Carrier™.

Innovation like this will allow combat and law enforcement life savers quick and ready access to a myriad of potential analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial solutions. Some suspect that these types of extracts could potentially replace broad spectrum antibiotics such as the Levofloxacin (500mg) or Moxifloxacin (400mg) (TCCC recommendation for oral antibiotics) commonly found in “Combat Pill Packs”. However, it is not intended as a replacement for intramuscularly (IM) injected or intravenously (IV) infused drugs such as Cefotan/cefotetan (2 grams [IV or IM] once every 12 hours) or Invanz/ertapenem (1 gram [IV or IM] once every 24 hours).

Future associated products include a MOLLE compatible, crush proof, coconut oil (or other carrier oil) dispenser pouch. This will allow for easy field-dilution by medical personnel.  Projected availability for Q3/2020.

The Essential Oils Carrier does come pretreated with lavender to promote a calm atmosphere for both the medical personnel and patient during combat operations.

Gadsden Dynamics Minimalist Assault Chest Rig – Launching Today!

Gadsden Dynamics will launch their newest chest rig, the Minimalist Assault Chest Rig, today. It obviously shares DNA with Gadsden Dynamics’ popular Underground Partisan chest rig but this is designed to carry a “more comprehensive loadout”.

The chest rig features elastic rifle magazine pouches like the flagship Underground Partisan Chest Rig but with the addition of pistol magazine pouches on the front of each rifle mag pouch. These pouches lay mostly flat when not in use and can accept a variety of items like pistol mags, flashlights, multitools, and similar.

The H-harness is fully removable and it has hook material on the back so that the chest rig can be clipped into a plate carrier to serve as a magazine placard.

Lynx Defense – The Bureau

Benson, NC – Lynx Defense is set to release its newest gun bag The Bureau on March 16th, 2020. The Bureau is designed to help customers conceal and transport personal defense weapons with discretion and ease.

In addition to its compact and easy-to-transport build, The Bureau features two internal zippered pockets and a hook and loop attachment system on its back wall to attach extra pockets, patches, or medical kits securely. Additionally, users can customize The Bureau to fit their needs with adjustable retention straps to guarantee the safe transport of their firearms.
