Armageddon Gear Announces Deliveries of Soft Goods Products in Support of M110A1 CSASS Program

Buena Vista, Georgia – 25Jan2021 –The Army began receiving deliveries of the M110A1 Compact Semi-Automatic Sniper System in 2020. This updated platform is lighter in weight, more compact, and more versatile than the previous-generation M110 rifles. Manufactured in Germany, the rifles will then be kitted with optics and accessories by HK-USA at their Columbus, Georgia facility.

Armageddon Gear will deliver approximately 6,300 units of their SASS rifle case (available for purchase at www.armageddongear.com), the CSASS suppressor mirage cover, based on the highly successful Armageddon Gear Hi-Temp Suppressor Cover, and an accessory pouch that can hold cleaning supplies, batteries, laser rangefinders, anemometers, or other accessories.

“These deliveries reflect Armageddon Gear’s commitment to military readiness and continue our tradition of supporting every recent fielding of precision rifle systems by the US Military. We’ve been selected to supply the soft goods for programs such as the M2010, SASS, PSR, ASR, CSASS and others. This support of military programs is a core part of Armageddon Gear and we’re proud to partner with Hecker & Koch on the CSASS program.” said Tom Fuller, Armageddon Gear CEO.

PocketUp Terrier Patrol Pack

PocketUp’s latest pack, the Terrier Patrol Pack, is now available. This 35-liter top-loading pack features 1000D Cordura construction, a roll-top closure with lid, and has full internal suspension with aluminum stays. The front of the pack itself and top cover feature PALS webbing for attaching additional pockets.

The sides of the Terrier appear to be slick at first glance but they actually feature full-height pockets that are similar to PocketUp’s stand-alone Morph Pockets. These pockets lay flat when not in use but can expand to hold large items. These pockets also have a pass-through feature that allows them to carry longer items like rifles or fishing poles.

New Handgun KYWI Pouches from Esstac – G43X, Sig P365, and 40° Angled Mag Pouches

Esstac has been busy churning out new handgun magazine pouches including options for the Glock 43X, Sig P365, and 40° Angled Single Pistol KYWI. These feature the same KYWI construction that you know and love with a Cordura outer pouch with an internal tensioner.

The G43X and Sig P365 pouches are identical. It fits G43X magazine, Shield Arms S15 magazines, and P365 magazines. There is a gap between the pouches that makes grabbing a single magazine a bit easier. These pouches are intended for belt use (not recommended for use on PALS webbing).

The 40° Angled Single Pistol KYWI is built like the standard Single Pistol KYWI with the addition of a section of One-Wrap that allows the pouch to be belt mounted at an angle. It is available with either the standard double-stack magazine insert or an insert specifically for 2011 magazines.

Delta2Alpha Ragnar Bands

If you’ve used ranger bands made from bicycle tire inner tubes, you know how handy they can be for things like adding some grip to a slipper firearm, managing strap ends, starting a fire, or attaching a thing… to another thing. However, you probably also know that, while they can be made in a variety of sizes, big isn’t usually one of them and that they eventually crumble into a mess.

The Delta2Alpha Ragnar Bands are larger than typical homemade ranger bands. They are also not a cut-up-from-something-else or repackaged product. They are made from the ground up to Delta@Alpha’s specs. Each band is about 4 inches long (when flat) and can stretch to 8″. They are 3/8″ wide.

The Ragnar Bands (which is a clever name, by the way) can be used in all the same ways that you might use a ranger band. However, you may find that the larger size makes them more versatile and the better materials make them more reliable than regular ranger bands.
