You should probably sit down. ALG Defense is developing a trigger for the AK family of weapons (AK-47, AK-74, AKM, etc.). Details are sparse at the moment but we do know that it has a unique trigger bow shape and position that ALG Defense and Geissele Automatics are calling the Lightning Bow. Expect more details to be available at or around SHOT Show.
This is a market dominated for the most part by the TAPCO G2. If ALG Defense can deliver the type of quality and value that they are known for in their AR-15 triggers, this will be a massive coup.

Price point? Will it cost as much as the entire rifle?
I don’t have pricing information at this time. However, ALG Defense is known for being affordable and they have a strong brand image built around that fact. I would be surprised if it wasn’t very competitively priced.
They have already stated it will be around $49
I really like the ACT in my AR so this will be an awesome upgrade for the AK. I can’t wait.
