Shield just released these images of their Mini Sight, known here in the States as the JPoint. The mount replaces the rear sight and features large wings to protect the all plastic Mini Sight/JPoint from impact. Like the Mini Sight/JPoint itself, this mount is extremely compact.

The Kershaw and Zero Tolerance knives that have been designed by Rick Hinderer have been nothing short of a smash hit, especially the affordable Cryo. Kershaw is following the success of the Cryo with a new affordable Hinderer design in the Thermite.
The Thermite features a very Hinderer-esque 3.5″ 8Cr13MoV steel “tanto” blade. Like many Kershaw knives, it features a spring assist mechanism. It has a steel frame lock and a machined G-10 scale. The deep carry pocket clip is configurable for tip up, tip down, left, and right side carry.
These cost $5-6 more than the Cryo but they are larger and feature a G-10 scale. This looks like a solid value.
