The Smith & Wesson M&P trigger gurus, Apex Tactical Specialties , have a new cure for the M&P trigger. The new AEK Trigger offers additional functionality that users were requesting after the introduction of the Apex FSS Kit.
The AEK Trigger is machined from aluminum and hard coat anodized. It is designed to offer more of a flat face target trigger feel and it removes the flex that is inherent with the stock M&P trigger. It also removes about 20% of the M&P’s pre-travel according to Apex. The big difference between this trigger and the FSS is that the new AEK can be used as a stand alone trigger upgrade or in conjunction with the Apex Duty Carry or Competition Action Enhancement Kits.
