Vigilant Gear Micro SERE Kit Now Available

The Vigilant Gear Micro SERE Kit is now available! We have previously mentioned this kit when it being developed, and if you have been following us on Facebook and Instagram, you have seen an early version of the kit. It is a truly excellent kit that is surprisingly versatile and comprehensive given its small size.

The kit is small and packed full of useful items but there is space for a bit more. Vigilant Gear is offering a Bogota Titanium Nano Entry Toolset as an optional upgrade.

Vigilant Gear Bypass Bundle

Question: What’s smaller than a typical house key and can be used to bypass a variety of locks from padlocks, to cabinet locks, to handcuffs?

Answer: The Bypass Bundle from Vigilant Gear.

The Bypass Bundle is package built from 3 of Vigilant Gear’s most popular bypass tools: the Quick Stick, the EZ Decoder, and a Spring Steel Split-Pawl Handcuff Shim. They are bundled together with a small piece of tubing that holds them all together in an extremely compact package – small enough to hide under a house key.

The Quick Stick is great for padlocks and wafer locks like those found on cabinets. The EZ Decoder is designed to open many combination padlocks made by Sesame and Master Lock, as well as many luggage locks and cash boxes, by decoding the combination or shimming. The Spring Steel Split-Pawl Handcuff Shim can be used to shim a wide variety of handcuffs including some that have anti shimming features.

Vigilant Gear Micro SERE Kit

Vigilant Gear has access to all the best survival and E&E tools. They know the tools inside and out. It makes absolutely perfect sense that they would start offering their own kits.

The first kit to be available through Vigilant Gear is the Micro SERE Kit. It is, as the name implies, a very compact E&E kit. How compact? I’m glad you asked. The entire kit will be 2.3″ x 1.8″ x .5″. You could hide it under a business card! It’s definitely small.

TIHK at Vigilant Gear

You can always count on Vigilant Gear to carry the most interesting E&E/urban survival gear. Their latest addition is the TIHK or Tiny Inconspicuous Handcuff Key.

TIHK is a very compact, non-ferrous, handcuff key with a built in clip that makes it easy to carry in a number of ways including on your rear belt loop where it is accessible in the event that you are cuffed behind your back. The TIHK was designed as a discreet, EDC handcuff key for the purposes of evading unlawful arrest such as those traveling in hostile countries or to aid in escape from home invasions.

Spool Tool at Vigilant Gear

Vigilant Gear is now carrying the Spool Tool. If you aren’t familiar, Spool Tool helps you keep your paracord organized and accessible for projects. It has an integral cutting blade and mini-Bic lighter holder for when it comes time to melt the ends of your paracord project.
