Shellback Tactical is now offering an XL version of their Banshee Cummerbund that is just like the normal Banshee cummerbund but with the addition of 8″ of adjustment. This cummerbund should also be adaptable to a number of other plate carriers in addition to the Banshee.

Think all the way back to January 2015. Shellback Tactical was teasing and then showing the Banshee 2 Plate Carrier at SHOT Show 2015. Well, the Banshee 2 is finally right around the corner. Pre-ordering will be opened soon and we have a first look at the new carrier.
The new Banshee 2 boasts a ton of new features. Several features have been added or evolved since the original prototype was shown at SHOT 2015. This carrier features a new MOLLE compatible Hypalon shoulder strap treatment, new materials like spacer mesh backed plate pockets, camo/color matched webbing and Velcro, integrated admin storage, and a ton of built-in magazine storage in the kangaroo pocket and cummerbund.

The Shellback Tactical Banshee Plate Carrier has now received several in line improvements. The new updated version of the Banshee also features lightweight 500D Cordura construction and a new Velcro secured drag handle. Additionally, Banshee Plate Carriers in Multicam now have matching webbing.
Shellback Tactical’s new Patriot Plate Carrier is now available for pre-order. This new carrier is distinctive from the Banshee but built on similar dimensions so that Banshee soft armor may be used.
The Patriot PC is constructed from 500D Cordura nylon to keep the weight down. All of its MOLLE webbing is confined to the cummerbund area with full coverage on the cummerbund itself, the cummerbund flap on the front, and the cummerbund tunnel on the rear. The upper part of the front and rear plate pockets has generous loop material fields. The should straps can be pulled forward to adjust and are secured with Velcro. Shoulder pads are included. The reinforced drag handle can be secured with Velcro so it doesn’t flap in the breeze.
