CRKT and Artificum Solis Collaboration Knife – Clever Girl

The Clever Girl with its sweeping, Persian style blade is one of Artificum Solis‘ most recognizable knives. While the Clever Girl is already pretty affordable for a custom fixed blade, it is about to become even easier on your wallet with the announcement that CRKT will be offering a production version.

The production Clever Girl is ground from .158″ thick SK5 steel and matches the custom’s dimension closely with its 4.6″ blade. It also features sculpted G-10 handle scales and a functional molded nylon sheath.

Artificum Solis Bladeworks Andy

“Andy” is Artificum Solis’ latest creation. This concealable fixed blade looks well suited to carry as a backup to your concealed carry firearm or for utility use.

The Andy features 3.5″ long, 1/8″ thick O1 Tool Steel blade that has a chisel primary grind with a V ground secondary edge. The blade has a Wharnecliffe profile that gives you plenty of point to work with and helps hold the material being cut on the cutting edge when slashing.

The handle slabs are hand textured micarta and the knife has a 3.5″ handle (7″ overall length). It comes with a kydex sheath.

Windowed Sheath from Artificum Solis Bladeworks

What do you do when you spend all the time necessary to create a beautiful Damascus steel blade? Well, you don’t cover it up with a Kydex sheath, that’s for sure! These new “window style sheaths” from Artificum Solis Bladeworks allow everyone to admire the beauty of their Damascus Hunter model knife, even while it is in the sheath.

Sure, this may not keep dirt, dust, mud, and guts out but something tells me you’ll probably use a different knife if you think there is a good chance that you may be encountering any of those things.
