DDLES AR-15 GLOCK Magazine Lowers

I am not a huge fan of pistol caliber carbines but I can see the utility of a carbine that takes the same magazines as your handgun in certain situations. Double Diamond Law Enforcement Supply (DDLES) makes AR-15 lowers that accept GLOCK magazines.

The lowers are available for either the GLOCK small frame magazines (9mm, .40SW, etc) or large frame magazines (.45ACP, 10MM). They are also available with a number of options like your choice of 6065 or 7075 aluminum, various selector markings, and custom engraving (handy for those building SBRs). They also sell barrels and complete uppers in various calibers to complete your build.

Solar Tactical FAST Series Compensator

Solar Tactical has a new compensator available and it boasts a very interesting feature that is unlike anything that I have seen before.

The Solar Tactical FAST Series Compensators are available in a variety of thread pitches to fit AR-15s and AK pattern rifles. It has a pretty standard looking 3 port design. The real story here is the “FAST” or Field Adjustable Slot Technology that allows the use of a piece of spent brass to install and remove the brake. That is pretty clever. The notch may also serve as an index point for future accessories.

GWACS Armory CAV15 MKII Lowers Now Available

The GWACS Armory CAV15 MKII AR-15 Lowers are now available and ready to ship in Coyote Tan, OD Green, and Black. They are also planning on releasing Pink, “Zombie” Green, and Dark Earth (matches Magpul’s Flat Dark Earth).

The CAV15 MKII lowers are made from glass-infused nylon-6 which is durable and resistant to chemicals and the elements. GWACS Armory tells me that they have a lower that has been run over by a truck and has 50,000 rounds through it so they are feeling pretty confident about the durability of their lowers. That is pretty impressive for a lower that only weighs 1 pound, 14 ounces (with all lower parts installed).

Ultralight Adventure Equipment Packs in Multicam
