SexyWeapon Hydro-Coated AR-15 Accessories
SexyWeapon.com is now offering a full line up of hydro-coated AR-15 furniture. In fact, this new line of hydro-coated goods is going to become the focus of SexyWeapon.com.
They offer a wide variety of patterns including the usual Multicam, A-TACS AU, and A-TACS FG (soon). However, they also offer some unique options like what they call “Reaper” which is a camo pattern made from skulls that seem to blend together. They are also doing custom runs of Woodland and Desert MARPAT.

Troy Defense
I came across an interesting “new” company recently. I say “new” because the name will likely be very familiar to you. Troy Defense is a new firearms division of Troy Industries who you already know for their Battle Sights, Battle Rails, and other accessories.
Their initial offering, the Troy Defense 5.56 Carbine, is available only at Dick’s Sporting Goods for a street price of just over $1000. That is pretty impressive considering the specs and features on this rifle. You don’t typically think of Dick’s Sporting Goods when it comes time to buy an AR-15 but it appears that they are trying to change that perception.

Echo Nine Three DMS-QD
Echo Nine Three (Echo93) just introduced a new version of their Dual Mode Sling called the DMS-QD. This is a new version of the sling that we recently reviewed. It is designed to work with the V3-QD Sling Plate and the standard AK front sling mounting point. However, it is also adaptable to any longarm with appropriate sling mounting points.
The DMS and new DMS-QD both now have a new melonite finish on the custom hub hardware. They are available in tan or black. Check out the DMS-QD on Echo93.com.
Echo Nine Three V3-QD Sling Plate
I have said it before and I will say it again now. Echo Nine Three (Echo93) makes the best solutions for the rear sling mounting point for AK pattern rifles. That phrase is definitely worth reiterating now that Echo93 has introduced the V3-QD Sling Plate in conjunction with the Military Arms Channel.
The original V3 Sling Plate is one of my favorites of all the sling plates. It positions the sling hardware well away from the weapon hand and is completely reversible. Both of these features can also be found on the V3-QD. The difference is that the V3 was designed to work with MASH Hooks and Snap Hooks while the V3-QD is designed to accept the ubiquitous push button QD sling swivels.
There is also a new version of the DMS (Dual Mode Sling) in the works that will work specifically with the V3-QD.
