New From KDG: H&K 762 Ambidextrious Magaizine Release for HK 417 / MR762

New for fall 2019, KDG launches the first of a series of aftermarket accessories for Heckler and Koch firearms: The KDG HK 762 Ambi (Ambidextrous) Magazine Release. This is the first ambidextrous magazine release for the HK 417 variant rifles.  The mag release is a lever instead of a button; where the release has been moved backward toward the shooters hand allowing the shooter to use naturally with their index finger without having to adjust their grip. The Ambi Magazine Release is precision machined from 2 pieces of 4140 steel. Both pieces are Salt Bath Nitrocarburized case hardened, providing a protective corrosion resistant black finish. The Ambi mag release is compatible with all HK 417, MR762, G28, and any other 417 variant rifles (Including the new CSASS A1 rifle.)

The Yankee Thunder Hang N’ Hook Target Kit is a kit that allows shooters to turn affordable and easy to work with electrical conduit into a hanging target stand. The kit consists of two junction pieces and 4 hooks for hanging gongs (or other fun stuff). The stand looks like it sets up quickly and would be completely customizable based on the lengths of conduit that you use. This could be a handy item for those of us who shoot in the backcountry.

Swampfox Optics Adds New Scope Rings

Swampfox Optics is now offering two new scope ring options – the Hostile Engagement and Freedom Rings. Both types of rings aim to be high quality at an accessible price. They are machined from 7075 aluminum with hard coat anodized finish and are available in either 1.60″ or 1.93″ heights.

The Hostile Engagement Rings differ from the Freedom Rings in that they have mounting surfaces for MRD style options machined directly into the ring. There is a mounting surface on both the left and right side of both rings in a set.

The 10.5” Hybrid barrel is ideal for the versatile 300 AAC Blackout cartridge. Paired with a 1-7 twist, the 10.5” can stabilize a wide range of BOTH subsonic and supersonic bullets. If you plan on using a suppressor, it will also ensure subsonic loads are not pushed beyond the supersonic threshold.

Our Hybrid contour is the ideal balance between weight and intelligently distributed barrel material for excellent heat absorption and harmonics; maintaining a consistent point of impact even through hard use and rapid strings of fire. Compared to shorter barrels, the 10.5” allows for handguards long enough to mount a variety of lights, lasers, tape switches and back up sights, while still allowing room to grip and use the rifle.
