Trident Concepts Introduces TACOST – SIRT 1

If you aren’t familiar with Trident Concepts’ TACOST system, you are missing out. TACOST is basically a set of repeatable drills with measurable standards that can be easily carried with you and randomized thanks to their playing card form factor. You can see my review of TACOST – Pistol 1 for more details.

Jeff Gonzales, owner of Trident Concepts, just introduced his latest TACOST set, TACOST – SIRT 1. The new set is meant to be used with the SIRT Training Pistols from Next Level Training. It focuses on skills that are conducive to dry practice with a tool like the SIRT Training Pistol: Ready Positions, Draw-stroke, Low-light, and Movement. There are 13 drills to support each of those 4 modules for a total of 52 drills. See the video below for more details.

Custom Dyed Magpul AK Grips from Echo Nine Three

I am going to let you in on a little secret. The original thin, little popsicle stick of a grip that comes on most AKs is terrible. All those “Keep that #$%! off my AK!” guys won’t admit it but they wish they had grips that actually filled the hand of a well fed westerner. Echo Nine Three is here to help guys like that with their new Bakelite Orange and Plum custom dyed Magpul AK grips.echo93_dyed_magpul

They take a darn good grip, the Magpul MOE AK Grip, and apply a custom dye process to create traditional AK colors like Bakelite Orange and Plum. The Bakelite Orange can be clear coated (not included) to appear even more authentic. The Plum color is dyed to match Arsenal’s Plum furniture. They sell the grips already dyed or they can dye user provided parts.

Now you can have a grip that was designed with an actual human in a color that you can satisfy your appetite for authenticity.

BattleComp Match Glock Slides

BattleComp is getting into the Glock game. Their upcoming Match Glock Slides feature a texture that is reminiscent of the cuts in their muzzle devices. The texture is applied by the OGs of Glock slide milling, ATEi.

These will initially be available for the Glock 17 and 19 with 22 and 23 version coming later. RMR cuts will be an option.

Look for more details soon.
