Emissary Development Updates the Handbrake M-LOK

Emissary Development has been working to update their Handbrake M-LOK:

HANDBRAKE UPDATE!

A lot of you have been asking what has taken so long for the standard model to come back in stock.

We are constantly working behind the scenes to enhance our products so we have added some new inline enhancements to our already awesome Handbrake!

We are enhancing the texture to be more “grippy” with deeper groves and a bit more space between the texture extrusions to allow your hand to sit deeper into the surface for more retention. We believe we have now found that precise balance point between control and comfort in one well rounded package.

A small aesthetic detail we added is a more defined Emissary logo for a cleaner look.

We have also optimized the production process and we now plan to be putting our Handbrakes at a significantly faster rate.

For everyone who now owns the previous Handbrake style please take pride in owning the original first gen of the greatest Handstop out there! We appreciate the support from everyone more than you all know and we believe the first gen models will become highly sought after moon rocks in the future!

Hella Handbrakes inbound!

Tactical Works Featured Product: Fusion Module by Reactor

Tactical Works’ latest featured product, the Fusion Module by Reactor, allows you to access a depth of information about whatever firearm to which it is mounted.

The Reactor Fusion Module is a Bluetooth Data Acquisition Device that mounts directly to your firearm and links with the Reactor ecosystem to deliver unmatched data logging and analysis tools. It mounts to your firearm vai M-LOK or Picatinny rail and gives real-time data about your shooting conditions, along with providing an automated dope book with the data from other sensors and supported third party devices.

The Reactor Fusion Module is built to communicate with the Reactor mobile app via Bluetooth. It has a variety of on-board sensors to collect data during each shot. This helps automate your data books and uncovers an entire new realm of metrics you might never have known about your shooting habits.

Reactor NEVER logs information without your Fusion Module being on and paired, and Reactor has completely transparent business practices to ensure your privacy and rights as a gun owner are protected.

KE Arms KP-15 and Linear Vibration Welding

Those of us who have used CAV-15 lowers and had great results, were excited to see the concept reborn as the KP-15 from KE Arms. As great as the CAV-15 was, it was not without potential weak points including a small number of lowers that split at the weld between the two halves.

This CAV-15 issue is overblown to some extent but not without founding. It has also been projected onto the KP-15 for understandable reasons given the similarity of the concepts. However, it should be pointed it out that the KP-15 is not simply a rework of the original CAV-15 molds. It is an entirely new, ground-up effort – new engineering, new design, and new processes.

KE Arms recently shared a production process photo of a KP-15 lower that shows an example of how the KP-15 was designed with the process of linear vibration welding from the start with input from engineers that specialize in that process. The image shows an alignment tab that ensures that the process works as intended and can then be removed via machining after the process is complete. The result is a weld between the halves of the lower that has shown itself to be stronger than the surrounding material in testing.
