The good folks at Whiskey Two-Four are like wizards with lasers and Hypalon. Their latest creation is the 2×3 Modular Pouch to Loop Adapter which allows you to turn any MOLLE compatible pouch into a hook backed pouch for use with hook and loop style organization. The 2 column by 3 row size ensures that it works with a ton of pouches and the Hypalon construction keeps weight to a minimum (just 12 grams).

I am just a regular guy and obviously not the intended audience for S.O. Tech’s new Cobra SIS Vest and its accessories. However, they just released a video that puts its features on full display and it has a ton of really slick features that make it worth mentioning here.
Within the first few seconds of the video, you get to see how the Cobra SIS Vest can go from low profile to fully donned in the blink of an eye. That is pretty darn cool.
The fact that the vest is designed to accept a sling in a very integrated way is also very interesting.

BFG makes a SCAR specific version of the Vickers Combat Applications Sling (VCAS) for “special users”. Fortunately for you, you don’t have to be a “special user” to put your hands on one but you do have to be fast. They have a limited number of Vickers SCAR Slings in AOR1 available for purchase.
These slings are ready to mount to your SCAR right out of the box. They feature a UWL at the rear which is like magic for the SCAR’s fixed sling loops and a RED Swivel or standard push button swivel at the front. The UWL and swivel combine to make this sling convertible from 2 point to single point.

Perroz Designs has released the details of their latest revision to the Low Profile Slick Plate Carrier. The new version adds a significant amount of capability to the previous design without adding much bulk.
The Gen 4 version will feature:
– 500 Denier Nylon Cordura® outer material.
– 3D spacer mesh 3mm padding inner material.
– 35oz. DuPont Hypalon shoulder-straps.
– 35oz. DuPont Hypalon cummerbund with additional loop Velcro®, combined with doubled-up 4in elastic in the rear.
– Small admin pouch 5 in wide x 4 in high. Velcro® sealable with three 2 in elastic loops internally for Chemlights, pens, etc.
– Swift-Clip comptable for chest rigs, etc. Three different height options.
– Large loop Velcro® surface 10.25 in wide x 6 in high for use with Blue Force Gear, Inc. DAP accessories.
– Pull-tabs for ease in removing and inserting ballistic plates.
– Velcro® One-Wrap loops for comms wire routing, etc.
– Reinforced plate pocket stitching.
I confirmed with Perroz Designs that side buckles can be added at the user’s request to secure wider chest rigs. The Low Profile Slick Plate Carrier Gen 4 will be available soon from Perroz Designs.
