Chase Tactical – Warrior Wednesday – Warrior Assault Systems Falcon Chest Rig
Warrior Wednesday – brought to you by Chase Tactical. Every week, we will feature a product from Warrior Assault Systems. This week’s featured product is the Falcon Chest Rig.
The new Warrior Assault Systems Falcon Chest Rig is designed to work as a compact Chest Rig in a stand alone configuration.
The FCR accommodates 8 x M4 style mags with an adjustable bungee retention which also allows AK mags to be easily changed out. There are a total of 4 utility pouches. The end pouches can hold MBITR 148 radios, there are elastic loops for storage of chemlights, small flashlights etc. at the sides of the end pouches.
Warrior’s DPDA-9 double pistol mag pouch is attached to the front of the Falcon Chest Rig with MOLLE and can be removed or replaced as required.
The unique feature about the Falcon Chest Rig is its ability to attach to Warrior Assault Systems new RECON Plate Carrier. Simply remove the shoulder and rear straps and all the remaining clips line up with the corresponding ITW clips located on the front and sides of the RECON Plate carrier, creating a scalable armor platform.
The Falcon Chest Rig is currently available in MultiCam, Coyote, and , A-TACS-FG.

DDI AK with Magpul MOE Hand Guard and Khukov Stock
DDI has begun shipping another AKM complete with Magpul furniture. This time the AK comes equipped with the MOE AK Hand Guard and Zhukov stock. This combination of parts provides broader compatibility with other hand guards should you ever want to replace the MOE Hand Guard since, unlike the Zhukov Hand Guard, this requires no modification to the hand guard retainer. The Zhukov stock provides a folding stock for transport.
Like DDI’s other AKM offerings, these feature a KG Gun Coat finish. The bolt, bolt carrier, axis pins, rear sight assembly, spring guide, and barrel are Fenocite treated for corrosion resistance and increased surface hardness. Speaking of the barrel, it is made to DDI’s specs by Green Mountain and plays a large part in the surprising accuracy that has been reported by DDI shooters. I have not shot mine for groups yet but it has exhibited good practical accuracy out of the box. Each rifle ships with a Magpul AK MOE magazine.
So, if you have wanted to pick up a DDI AK with Magpul furniture but were turned off by the Zhukov Hand Guard, this could be the one. You can find them at several online dealers or your local dealer can order one for you.
3 Gun Stuff Vortex Strike Eagle Scope Lever
3 Gun Stuff has released their Scope Lever for the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6×24. The scope lever is made from ABS plastic and extends .8″ above the magnification ring to make adjusting the magnification easier.
BCS Low Vis BALCS Carrier
The Beez Combat Systems (BCS) Low Vis BALCS Carrier (LVBC) is now available. As the name implies, this carrier is designed around SPEARS BALCS cut soft armor. It boasts features like a front kangaroo pouch that can carry 2 rifles magazines and an admin organizer for pens and similar items. The upper chest has vertical webbing for use with QASM buckles to accept mountable chest rigs. The internal plate pockets can accept SAPI cut, Swimmer Cut, or rectangle plates.
The LVBC is also a showcase for BCS’s new Elastic Cummerbund 3 Cell which serves to carry magazines, radios, TQs, and other gear that fits its versatile elastic pouches while minimizing the profile of those items due to their placement. The cummerbund is designed to be widely compatible with a number of carriers and is available separately for those who want to retrofit their existing carriers.
