It is Time to Be Heard – Assault Weapon Ban of 2019

Senator Feinstein has introduced the Assault Weapon Ban of 2019 and now, more than ever, you must make your voice heard on this clear violation of the Bill of Rights and the Second Amendment. This new legislation seeks to limit the sale, manufacture, transfer, and importation of many common firearms deemed to be “assault weapons”.

The legislation bans 205 firearms by name but also includes catch-all, feature-based terminology that would cast a wide net. It defines any semi-automatic firearm with a detachable magazine and that includes any feature from a list of “military characteristics” as an assault weapon. The list of military characteristics includes incredibly common features like threaded muzzles and pistol grips. The Assault Weapon Ban of 2019 also specifically calls out firearms with stabilizing braces and feature-less stocks.

We are in a time when our rights are used as bargaining chips by our representatives and even by the groups we pay to defend such rights. That can not be allowed to happen this time. The Assault Weapon Ban of 2019, in whole or in part, is a clear infringement on the right of the people to keep and bear arms.

I strongly suggest that you begin contacting your representatives now to firmly and respectfully voice your opposition this legislation.

she needs to get a massive coronary and burn in hell for being against the citizens rights. She swore to protect and defend the constitution but has fought to strip rights away from the people.
