Magpul released two interesting news items today. The first is that the long awaited M-LOK Rail Covers, Type 1 are now shipping. These lightweight covers fit extremely close to the rail and offer grip thanks to their flexible material. Think of them as M-LOK’s answer to picatinny rail ladder covers.
The second news item is the release of Magpul’s new Enhanced AR Magazine Release. This two piece magazine release button is extended and has increased surface area over the standard release. Both parts are made from hard anodized aluminum and all hardware is included.
Not to sure about the larger mag release button “paddle”? Looks to me like it may make for accidental mag drops.
