Frank Proctor has just launched his new website and a line of holster products including the Proctor Belt Loop for Safariland ALS Holsters. The belt loop is a drop-in replacement for the backers found on ALS holsters. It adds some drop and offset (unlike the UBL which just provides drop) to make it easier to achieve a full firing grip as your break retention during the draw stroke.
How does it compare to the UBL in terms of rigidity and stability? The Safariland version always just looked too flimsy, though admittedly, I’ve never gotten a chance to try one in person.
The current injection molded UBLs are actually quite rigid. I am not sure how this compares.
I can’t tell if this is for right hand holsters only or it’s universal. Anyone know if it could work for left handed satan worshipers like myself?
I believe these are right hand only.
Right hand only but message him through his website and I bet he will work something out.
