This is a great idea that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. The new Blue Force Gear Sling Sleeve is a 5″ long mil-spec elastic cuff that can be used to compact your sling into a snag free, but easy to deploy, package while the sling is still mounted on the rifle.
It is very easy to use. You just stage the Sling Sleeve on your sling where it stays out of your way until you need it. When you want to stow your sling, you just tuck the excess sling into the sleeve. The sling can be deployed to full length with a quick tug.
