Russell Phagan, who is what you might call a CAV-15 MKII expert thanks to his many years of experience at the original manufacturer of the CAV-15 Lower Receiver (Cavalry Arms), just completed a video that walks you through the assembly of a CAV-15 MKII receiver. I know several of you have purchased the newer GWACS Armory manufactured CAV-15 MKIIs and are likely ready to start adding your lower parts. There are a few nuances that you should be aware of when assembling these receivers which Russell covers well in this video.
Remember to use the coupon code “triggerjerk” for 5% off of your CAV-15 MKII lower from GWACS Armory’s site.
The lower rifle I used “DIP” rubber compound to make a pistol grip cover. I’d like to experiment with making different stippled effects by using craft checkering imprint nylon impression
sheets.
