Ruger has come a long way since Bill Ruger’s infamous “No honest man needs more than 10 rounds in any gun.” comments in advance of the ’94 Assault Weapons Ban. Mr. Ruger passed away several years ago and the company has been just about as strong an advocate for the 2nd Amendment as there is in the industry since his passing.
They have also made it easier than ever for you to let your voice be heard in the political process. They have created a website that can contact all of your Representatives at once. It is very, very slick. You simply enter some information that the site uses to determine who your Representatives are and the site does the rest – it copies all the relevant email addresses, drafts the letter, and then provides a spot for you to sign it. It could not be easier.
You are now completely without excuse for not contacting your Representatives. It can be done in less time than it took you to read this post. If you have been standing by, waiting for others to speak for you, now is your time to act. Check out the Protect Your Rights! page on Ruger.com.
