Blade-Tech has redesigned their MOLLE-LOKs to make them easier to use. I use the original MOLLE-LOKs but the closure system is a bit of a pain at times – especially in tight MOLLE columns. Now, with the MOLLE-LOK Gen 2, Blade-Tech appears to have greatly improved the closure system.
MOLLE-LOKs are extremely useful because they do not require weaving so they are very fast and easy to mount. This makes them ideal for pouches that you want to be able to move easily. I have used them on a compact IFAK pouch that like to move between a belt rig, chest rig, and plate carrier depending on the situation.
