I have mentioned Double D Armory’s very impressive AR-15 receivers before. Double D Armory is able to create camo patterns in the actual hard anodized finish.
Now they have released word that they will be offering the excellent PenCott family of patterns. The thought of a Badlands patterned AR-15 receiver set has me swooning.

FERFRANS just released a new video that explains the features and benefits of the previously mentioned CRD Muzzle Device System. The new video tests the device two different ways, both impressive, to show the benefits of their QD concussion shield functionality. The reduction in side concussion and blast with the shield installed is plainly evident.
This is definitely an interesting muzzle device.
You typically don’t see much self-promotion from Vltor which leads me to believe that we will all be talking about whatever it is that they roll out at SHOT Show 2014.
Two Sniper’s Hide users, TimK and Skullybones, have designed a zero stop solution in the form of a shim kit for the fixed magnification and 3-15x FFP SWFA SS optics.
A zero stop is a mechanism that physically prevents you from dialing your optic’s elevation beyond your zero. This is extremely handy on precision optics which may require the user to rotate their elevation turret in order to dial their dope. It is easy to lose track of your revolutions and find yourself completely lost on your dial without such a system.

There is speculation around the internet that it is .308 precision rifle but, since they refer to the teased firearm as a new “DDM4” on their Twitter feed, I doubt that is the case.

A few barrels that could be be stainless steel (or in the white carbon steel) appear in the most recent Daniel Defense video on Youtube (below). Perhaps, given the potential appearance of stainless barrels and the precision oriented optic shown in the teaser pic, the newest DDM4 will be some kind of stainless barreled light precision setup.
