I know AttackPAK for their backpacks with integrated gun belts but lately, I’ve noticed some very interesting prototype magazine pouches sneaking onto their social media. The design of the pouches looks to be very minimalist. The main body of the pouch appears to be laser cut material with some holes for weaving shock cord which serves to tension and separate the different cells in the pouch. This approach is likely very light and easily field repairable.

Interested to see how good the retention will be on these. I’m sure it’s something they’ve considered, it just doesn’t look great judging from the pictures only.
