The upcoming CDM Gear Mossberg Shotgun Safety looks to have a ton of potential. It is both wider than the factory safety switch and it extends back toward the buttstock. It’s shape actually moves the switch back toward the shooter’s weapon-side hand by about one ince. The extra length and the extra width in strategic places, should make it much easier to reach.

The attention to detail here seems quite good as CDM Gear has even shaped the safety so that the visual safe/fire indicator is still functional as intended by Mossberg.

Side Project LINK for CZ Scorpion and Magpul Zhukov Folding Stock

Side Project is a new company made up of not-so-new designers. You would likely recognize their work for other brands but they have decided to strike out on their own. They are definitely a company to keep your eye on. They have already released details of their first product. The LINK, an adapter that allows you to mount a Magpul Zhukov Folding Stock on a CZ Scorpion, will be available soon.

I mentioned the Rehv Arms Scorpion ZAP yesterday which also allows the use of a Zhukov Stock on the Scorpion and a reader drew my attention to the LINK (thank you HSR47). It may be similar in function to the ZAP but it differs in form. The LINK is more compact because it actually replaces the receiver interface part of the Zhukov Stock so that it can attach directly to the Scorpion. It is sold complete with the Zhukov Stock so it is ready to install on your Scorpion SBR.

Rehv Arms Scorpion ZAP

The Rehv Arms Scorpion ZAP is an adapter that allows users to install the Yugo compatible version of the Magpul Zhukov Folding Stock to their CZ Scorpion. The adapter was designed in collaboration with Cloudbreak Design. The Zhukov Stock actually looks very seamless on the Scorpion and the folding functionality is in fitting with the compact design of the firearm.

Rehv Arms does not currently have a functional website. You can visit their Facebook page to purchase an adapter ($59.95 shipped).

I own one of these M4E1 uppers and I find it to be very rigid, easy to work on, and relatively lightweight. The 16″ stainless steel, .223 Wylde chambered, 1 in 8″ twist barrel included with this upper is manufactured by Ballistic Advantage and has an good reputation for accuracy. This is a lot of upper for the money, especially if you are in the market for a light precision AR build.
