Wilcox Industries just introduced stubby versions of their Fixed and Para Vertical Grips. These grips are half the length of their full size models and are available in fixed and folding configurations. They feature a removable cap for storage and a molded polymer sleeve to enhance grip.
The new stubby grips are not listed on the Wilcox Industries website yet but should be available soon.

LaRue Tactical is now in the trigger game. Their new MBT-2S Trigger is machined from S7 Tool Steel plates. This 2 stage trigger has a 4.5# total pull weight with a 2.5# first stage and 2# second stage. It’s trigger bow has a traditional curve but is also broad and fairly square which precision shooters will likely appreciate.
There is a genuine hubbub brewing in the holster world – specifically with “hybrid” holsters. While the issues have been percolating for some time, much of the current drama has been kicked off by angst over patents filed by CrossBreed holsters who contend they are the creator of the “hybrid holster.”
A new website recently popped up called Hybrid Holster History that gives the decidedly non-CrossBreed side of the story. The site is registered privately and anonymously published as far as I can tell so you can take that for what it is worth.
Hybrid holster designs have become wide spread across the holster industry. It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out.
