BattleComp 2.0

BattleComp 2.0 is here. It has the same external dimensions as the A2 flash suppressor which allows the BattleComp 2.0 to integrate with most of the same devices that are meant to work with the A2 flash suppressor. The interior dimensions are nearly identical to that of the BattleComp 1.0 and 1.5 which means that it delivers all the performance that you have come to expect from BattleComp. It comes with a shim kit and Rockset.

You can check it out on the BattleComp website.

If I am not mistaken, the primary motivation was also to integrate with the Gemtech Halo. The shims and rocksett seem to give it away. Of course there may be other A2-related devices I am not aware of.

I suspect that you are correct. Shims and Rockset usually point to suppressor use.

Umm.. no. rockset and shims don’t point toward it’s usage for suppressors.. it points out that it’s a brake and needs to be indexed correctly or it will not properly eject the gas in the right direction to help with muzzle rise control.

Thank you for dropping by Ryo.

I understand that it must be indexed like nearly every other comp on the market. Indexing can be accomplished with a crush washer but generally, the most reliable way to mount a muzzle device for use with a sound suppressor is shims and a good locking compound. This ensures that the muzzle device remains concentric to the barrel. One of the selling points of the BC 2.0 is its ability to accept suppressors, like the Gemtech Halo, that work with the A2 flash suppressor.

The BC 1.0 comes with a crush washer because it doesn’t serve as a sound suppressor mount. The BC 2.0 comes with shims and Rockset because it can serve as a suppressor mount.
