Snake Eater Tactical Tourniquet Optimized Burro

The Snake Eater Tactical (SET) Pistol Burro Magazine Pouches will carry a wide variety of items including tourniquets. However, tourniquets can be a bit of a tight squeeze so now SET has introduced a new tourniquet specific version of the Burro – The Tourniquet Pouch Burro.

The Tourniquet Pouch Burro is constructed the same way as the other Burro pouches – heavy duty elastic outer, an articulated stiffening insert, and a HANK/Hypalon liner to grip the contents – but it is slightly wider to accommodate the width of tourniquets like the CAT and SOF-T. It also has a small loop material square sewn on the front that can be used to display a medical marker.

Sneak Peek: Snake Eater Tactical 2 Point Sling

Snake Eater Tactical (SET) will be releasing a new 2 Point Sling in the near future. This sling has SET’s typical flare for simplicity. It is a simple, non-padded sling with only the minimal hardware needed to create the quick-adjust functionality. The only way this sling gets even mildly complicated is with its attachment options because SET will be offering a ton of them.

This sling should be available early next week.

How Snake Eater Tactical’s New Grid System Works

We now have some additional information on how the new patent pending Grid System from Snake Eater Tactical works. They debuted this system on their SET Plate Carrier and it has generated significant interest since then. The video below shows how the Grid holes are used in conjunction with a paracord and a cord lock to mount pouches.

Additionally, the image below shows how the system be used to stack pouches that are otherwise not made to be stackable. Shock cord is used in this image to allow for the expansion of the Rifle Mag Burro pouches.
