To provide work for Americans whenever we can.
To provide a quality product that will stand the test of time.
Minuteman Watches and former Army Ranger Justin Gingrich of Gingrich Tactical Innovations have collaborated to produce a new knife called the Adjutant. Like all Minuteman products, 25% of the of profits of this knife goes to veterans charities.
From Minuteman Watches:
To help boost our efforts to raise funds for charities that help veterans and their families. Minuteman has teamed up with former Army Ranger Justin Gingrich at Gingrich Tactical Innovations to offer you this high quality American made knife.
For those of you who don’t know Minuteman donates 25% of our annual net profits to charities like the Gary Sinise Foundation, Special Operations Warrior Foundation, and Fisher House. In fact for 2016 Fisher House is the charity we are trying to raise funds for.
We offering the knife in multiple versions with additional options such as the ability to add a pocket clip to the sheath.
As with our other Minuteman products a portion of the profits will go to charities that assist veterans and their families.
The Adjutant is a compact, EDC-able fixed blade with a 6″ overall length and a 2.5″ blade. It is ground from 1/8″ 154CM steel and has a bead blasted finish. It is available with either a skeletonized handle or black/white G10 handle slabs. Both versions come with a kydex sheath and there is an option steel clip available for IWB carry.
Minuteman Watches, in addition to their line of watches, will occasionally partner with a knife maker to offer an exclusive knife. Like their watches, 25% of the net proceeds from the sale of these knives goes to veteran’s charities. Their next knife project is going to be a small fixed blade that will be designed and created with the help of Justin Gingrich, former Army Ranger and head honcho at Gingrich Tactical Innovations.
They have whittled down the knife designs to just three and now its up to you to help decide which design to produce. You can visit the project page at Minuteman Watches to learn more about the project, projected pricing, and how to vote (its easy).
Here are the three versions being considered:
Regardless of the design chosen, the specs will be similar:
- Blade length: 2.5″ hollow ground.
- Handle length: 3″ (This may increase slightly but the idea is to get at least 3 fingers on the handle.
- Blade Thickness: 1/8″ (Might be bumped up to 5/32″)
- Blade width: 1″
- Blade Steel: M390 (Might switch to S35VN the cost for both steels is about the same and performance is similar.)
- Sheath: Kydex set up for neck carry, waist carry, and pocket carry.
- Blade finish: Bead blasted. (This may change but we will not coat is as the cost will go up and we are already using a stainless steel.)
