New Custom Body Armor Carrier Form and Options at BCS

Beez Combat Systems (BCS) has offered a unique service for designing and producing custom armor carriers to fit your armor for years. Now, with the introduction of BCS’ laser cut GRID fabric, they are updating the form and available options for this service.

The new options aren’t just limited to the use of GRID fabric. Custom Armor Carrier customers now also have the choice of First Spear Tubes or ROC80 to secure their cummerbund and their choice of liner materials (3Dmesh or HEXCEL).

If you have armor and you need to update your carrier, check out the Custom Body Armor/Plate Carrier page at BCS. The process is easy and there are more options than ever.

Armageddon Gear Tacticooler

It’s that time again! I always look forward to when Armageddon Gear rolls out a new product because often they roll out a funny video with it. The new Armageddon Gear Tacticooler and related video doesn’t disappoint.

From Armageddon Gear:

The Tacticooler is the coolest little tactical cooler you’ll find (see what we did there?). Built with the same high-tech reflective insulation we use in our US Army issued P.U.S.S. Pad, It’s a dove stool, a gear bucket, or better yet, a beer bucket. Take it on the golf course to regain some of the man points you lost with those plaid pants and keep your cold ones frosty. It even has an expandable mesh pocket to lovingly cradle your balls. The Tacticooler is perfect for the back of the pickup, the deck of your fishing boat, or on the rack of the four wheeler for a day in the mud bog. Simply add ice and refreshments to the 5-gallon bucket (Bucket not pictured, but included with purchase!) into the Tacticooler and voila, ‘Merica!. Can be custom embroidered with your business logo, CB handle, Tinder username, favorite sports team, or just about anything else. Contact us for embroidery specifics. Like everything Armageddon Gear makes, the Tacticooler is proudly manufactured right here in the good ol’ USA!

Sneak Peek: Lunar Concepts SwiftTQ + SB Tactical Brace

Lunar Concepts is teasing a new way to carry a tourniquet on your SB Tactical SBM4 Pistol Stabilizing Brace. This new version of their SwiftTQ tourniquet carrier affixes inside the brace and allows the user to quickly eject the TQ by pulling a strap from the rear of the carrier.

These are expected to be available toward the end of this week or early next week. Keep an eye on LCEquipped.com.

Primary Weapons Systems Releases Multiple New Product Lines at SHOT Show

Primary Weapons Systems released a number of new products at the recent SHOT Show. There is a lot to look forward to from PWS in 2018:

Primary Weapons Systems released multiple new product lines and updates at SHOT Show last month.

Starting with the MOD 1-M line (replacing the MK1 MOD 1-P line) with M-LOK handguards and Radian Raptor charging handles. Keeping the internals the same, the MK1 MOD 1-M line got a simple facelift. To match that, the MK2 MOD 1-M line also got M-LOK handguards and Radian Raptor charging handles.

Past the more expected updates, we take a look at the MK1 MOD 2-M line which replaces the MK1 MOD 2 line. The MK1 MOD 2-M line features not just an M-LOK handguard, but their patent pending PicLok handguard. Yes, it offers M-LOK along the entire length of the handguard, but also offers Picatinny in the front quarter of the rail. What sets the PWS MK1 MOD 2-M handguards apart, is the fact that M-LOK accessories direct thread into the handguard, meaning you don’t use the back T-nut of the accessory. This allows the shooter’s rail to truly stay as slim as possible while still offering a variety of mounting options. In addition to the PicLok handguard, the MK1 MOD 2-M line includes the Radian Raptor charging handle and Radian Talon safety selector.

For PWS customers wanting to do a quick handguard swap, we have good news! Handguards will be available as standalone items, so you can easily swap your current PicMod to PicLok.

The ALPHA line of rifles, easily differentiated by the FDE anodizing, was designed specifically for military use, but will be available for civilians. A few features of the ALPHA line are the heavier barrel profile, 1:7 barrel twist rate and gas adjustment knob in front of the handguard.

The last big release from PWS was the new PCC line in 9mm. Using a straight blowback system, taking GLOCK mags and having last round bolt hold open, PWS expects the PCC line to be a popular addition to their current offerings.

The PWS website is currently being rebuilt, but will be live by mid-February. In the meantime, customers can contact sales@primaryweapons.com for questions and purchasing.

Company Information:

Primary Weapons Systems (PWS) was formed in 2008 as a rifle component company and has since grown to be one of the largest firearms manufacturers in the Northwest. PWS initially made firearm accessories and compensators, but quickly moved into firearm manufacturing as they developed their PWS Long-Stroke Piston System which takes the operating system from Kalashnikov’s AK design and merges it with Stoner’s AR platform giving a hybrid rifle to shooters looking for a low-maintenance yet reliable and accurate firearm. PWS manufactures AR-15s in 223 Wylde, 300BLK and 7.62×39 as well as DPMS .308 pattern builds in both .308 Match and 6.5 Creedmoor- all with the long-stroke piston operating system. The PCC line of 9mm products is the only line that varies from the piston system, being a straight blowback system. Also manufactured by Primary Weapons Systems are lightweight buffer tubes, steel body buffers, accessories and a wide selection of compensators for firearms both piston driven and direct impingement.

The Wait is Over: TOPS Knives Fieldcraft Folder

The TOPS Knives Fieldcraft Folder might be one of the most important knives TOPS Knives has ever produced. It is modeled after their best selling fixed blade, it has been teased for years and hotly anticipated for just as long, and it is the first folding knife they they are producing in house. It had to be just right before they let it out the door.

From TOPS Knives:

The Fieldcraft by Brothers of Bushcraft fixed blade knife has been a #1 selling knife for TOPS since it was released and it continues to be a top seller even a few years later. Its ergonomics, modified Scandi grind, and heft have made sure that it finds its way into bug-out-bags, daily carry, and camp kits for guys all around the world. There have even been a few used in military trainings and overseas.

The folding version promises to be every bit as popular for the same reasons. While it’s larger than many folders out there right now, it carries well with a reversible tip up pocket clip. We know you’ll appreciate a blade longer than 4” in a lot of cases. The blade is made from 1095 high carbon steel. The handles are tan canvas Micarta on top of stainless steel liners. It has nearly all of the usefulness of the fixed blade, now in a folding version.

This knife is a bit of a throwback… thoroughly modern, but still a throwback. Their aren’t many modern folding knives that feature carbon steel any more (which is a shame) and check out that leather pouch sheath! How cool is that?

You can check out the new TOPS Knives Fieldcraft Folder at TOPSKnives.com.
