Arson Machine Introduces WireGuide Cable Management System

Somewhere in Oregon (December 17, 2020) – Drawing from their years of experience in making high quality firearms accessories, Arson Machine Co. delivers a simple yet incredibly useful product for cable management on firearms, The Wire Guide System for M-LOK handguards.

Spawned from the OCD mind of Jason Gifford (Product Development, Arson Machine Co.) and executed by David Carter (Executive Chef, Arson Machine Co.), the WireGuide System was created to address the issues of uncontrolled switch wires on weapon systems. The M-LOK WireGuide Clamps were designed to be sleek, stunning, low profile, light weight and a few other positive adjectives that all add up to a simple yet elegant solution to remove snagging as well as protect expensive weapon lights and switches.

Consisting of 3 separate pieces constructed of domestically produced, 6061-T6 aluminum and Type 3 anodized black, the WireGuide system allows for maximum versatility in placement, use and function. The first clamp in the set is the most basic Thru Clamp, which simply holds switch wires parallel to the bore of the rifle. It has 2 channels to accommodate 1 wire per channel which can be invaluable to those running dual switches for aiming devices and lights at the same time. It is the smallest of the 3 clamps. The next clamp is the 90° Clamp. This clamp, as the name implies, allows the wire to change direction 90 degrees. Lastly there is the End clamp. This clamp takes the wire in and turns it a full 180 degrees smoothly and beautifully. The purpose of this clamp is to be used in a manner to take up any slack that might be in the wire so that switch wires on the weapon system can be as secure and snag free as possible. When combined the system becomes a very low profile, low signature alternative to other, field expedient solutions (looking at you, bicycle innertubes and zipties).

All products are currently available in limited quantities on the Arson Machine Co. website: www.arsonmachine.com/product/wireworksfor-m-lok/ and will be available at select dealers by Q1 2021. More variants will be forthcoming. For the latest info check out Arson Machine Co. on social media. Instagram (@arsonmachine) and on Facebook.

Cloud Defensive® releases new Torrent weapon-light mounts!

October 21st, 2020: Cloud Defensive, an All-American lighting solutions and accessories manufacturer unveils their newest product offerings – the Torrent family of weapon-light mounts. The Torrent mounts are a direct partnership with Impact Weapons Components (in conjunction with Haley Strategic Partners) and manufactured exclusively for Cloud Defensive. The Torrent light mounts were designed to work with the new Cloud Defensive REIN weapon-lights and all Surefire Scout type patterned light bodies. The mounts allow the end user to position their weapon-light in the most suitable angle (depending on handguard configuration) for perfect beam placement on the threat. They also allow the user to accommodate auxiliary equipment (VIS/ IR lasers, back-up sights, etc) without hindering light placement.

The Torrent light mounts share the following specs and are available in these options:

Specs:

  • Mil-Spec Type III Hard-coat anodized finish
  • CNC machined from Certified 6061-T6 billet aluminum

Models include:

“When we developed the new REIN series of lights, we knew right away that we needed a wide variety of light mounts to support them. So, we called our friends at Impact Weapons Components and got to work. It is our distinct honor to present you with the Cloud Defensive “Torrent series” line of mounts.” – Sean McCauley (CEO/ Cloud Defensive).

Cloud Defensive® unveils new REIN (60,000 Candela and 1,400 Lumen) next generation weapon-light!

October 6th, 2020: Cloud Defensive, an All-American lighting solutions and accessories manufacturer unveils its newest product – the REIN. The REIN (Rail mounted Environmental IllumiNator) is the most powerful, durable, innovative, and complete weapon light system on the market. It features a field serviceable lens, a field-serviceable tail cap and an electrically isolated dual-switching capability for redundancy. It works with all existing (Scout type) light mounts, and it has the world’s first 3rd generation Light Control System (LCS) including a proprietary remote switch with tail-cap integration, oriented precisely for weapon-mounted use. All REIN units ship with a custom made charger and battery as well.

The REIN is Cloud’s sophomore release into the market, following their OWL (Optimized Weapon Light) from late 2018. Much like with the OWL Cloud wanted to introduce an industry leading product (that was made in-house) and redefined what a weapon light should be. With the following specs the REIN will be hard to beat, and even harder to copy:

  • MSRP: $314.99 Standard Kit/ $369.99 Complete Kit
  • Lumens: 1,400 REIN/ 1,300 REIN Micro
  • Candela: 60,000 REIN/ REIN Micro 55,000
  • Runtime: 120 mins REIN/ 35 mins REIN Micro
  • Battery (included): 18650 REIN/ 18350 REIN Micro
  • Weight (complete): 5.29 oz REIN/ 4.97 oz REIN Micro
  • Remote LCS switch: Available for both on product page
  • Colors variants: Black (available now)/ FDE (available 11/15)

“After 2 ½ (long) years of research, development, and re-investing into our manufacturing process, we are humbled to bring you this carefully crafted weapon-light. Our goal with this product was not to simply offer another weapon mounted light, but to introduce a product that would question why other options have been the standard for so long. The goal of the REIN project was to take the notion of a traditional weapon light and rework that in such a way that we elevate the performance and eliminate the liabilities found in typical systems. To ensure consistency and quality with this level of innovation, we take pride in producing our products in-house. It would have been easier to pick up a catalog and order one from a “white-label” manufacturer, but that’s not why we decided to start this journey. We truly believe in designing a better product, building it ourselves and servicing our customers with a level of performance that is unheard of. We also pride ourselves on the customer service front, maintaining the highest level of availability to our customers. Cloud is here to help. We’re here for you. And we’re just getting started. – Sean McCauley (CEO/ Cloud Defensive).

Effective immediately, the REIN is live and ready for sale. For more information on Cloud Defensive and our products go to www.CloudDefensive.com

THYRM CellVault-18 – Holds 18650, 18350, and CR123A

THYRM has launched its newest battery storage solution, the CellVault-18. Modern flashlights require a lot of power and the industry is moving beyond the CR123A cells that have been standard for so long. Rechargeable lithium batteries like the 18350 and 18650 are the new industry standards.

Fortunately, the new CellVault-18 can hold them all. It can hold a single 18650, 2x 18350, or 2x CR123A. It is IPX7 water-resistant and features a clear window so that the user can tell at a glance if it contains batteries. As with other CellVaults, it can be attached directly to PALS webbing.
