I came across an interesting “new” company recently. I say “new” because the name will likely be very familiar to you. Troy Defense is a new firearms division of Troy Industries who you already know for their Battle Sights, Battle Rails, and other accessories.
Their initial offering, the Troy Defense 5.56 Carbine, is available only at Dick’s Sporting Goods for a street price of just over $1000. That is pretty impressive considering the specs and features on this rifle. You don’t typically think of Dick’s Sporting Goods when it comes time to buy an AR-15 but it appears that they are trying to change that perception.
